NXP Mifare DesFire 2K/DESFire 4K/DESFire 8K is the contactless IC card which is made under NXP MF3 IC D21 or NXP MF3 IC D41 or MF3 IC D81(NXP Mifare DESfire EV1 D21/D41/D81). Usually it is called DESFire2K/4K/8K according to ISO14443A. The UID has four bytes. The storage capacity is 4K. The data can be protected by electronic key. Power konsumo: the induced currents without power, healthier, safer safety performance: lightning protection, anti-shock, to meet the requirements of industrial environments. Application areas: Advanced public transportation schema, Highly secure access management, Closed-loop e-payment scheme, Event ticketing, eGovernment applications.

MIFARE DESFire EV1 is based on open global standards for both air interface and cryptographic methods. It is compliant to all 4 levels of ISO/IEC 14443A and uses optional ISO/IEC 7816-4 commands.
