The air baggage tracking system begins with a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. RFID air baggage tags are easy to install, low cost, and resistant to wear and are therefore widely recognized as the most reliable unique identifier for single baggage transport. The successful reading rate of the air baggage tag (combined with the barcode of the RFID chip) is close to 99%. Before adopting the RFID technology, the reading success rate of the traditional bar code label is only about 80%. RFID technology greatly enhances the accuracy and security of baggage tracking and makes the tracking process more efficient and provides a better experience for passengers.
