The YY637 Series Sound-Light Locating Active Tag is a compact and sophisticated electronic tag equipped with an LED indicator and a buzzer. Under certain conditions, it can emit audio-visual alarms in response to preset trigger signals, thereby enabling location and tracking functions. The tag operates in either “active or passive mode”: it either actively transmits signals or transmits signals upon being triggered by a command from a reader (or low-frequency activator). The transmission frequency is adjustable. Upon receiving a search command from the reader, the 7-color LED will flash cyclically a specified number of times and emit a beep; simultaneously, it sends a response to the reader and the host computer indicating whether it has been located. Once the tag (representing the item) is successfully located by following the audible and visual cues, the user can briefly press the button on the tag to stop the audible and visual alerts.
Each electronic tag has a unique code. If the wireless signal emitted by the electronic tag is within the reader’s effective detection range, the signal is received and decoded by the reader via its antenna. The reader then transmits the information to the management system or other monitoring systems via interfaces such as RS485, CAN bus, or Ethernet.
