The ST25 NFC/RFID series currently mainly includes the ST25TA, ST25TB, ST25TN, and ST25TV series NFC tags, which differ in application scenarios and read/write protocols.

The ST25TA series is a family of NFC Forum Type 4 tags based on the ISO14443-A RF interface. The series supports the NFC data exchange format (NDEF) and offers advanced authentication and digitization capabilities.
NFC Forum certified, the ST25TA series is well suited to enable a wide range of NFC use cases, such as brand protection, advanced asset tracking, tailored digital experiences, wireless pairing, smart posters, and virtual business cards.

The ST25TV Type 5 NFC tag IC is the first solution to combine the convenience of long-range communication according to the ISO/IEC 15693 standard with tamper detection capabilities. Compared to other NFC tag types, ST25TV tags are easier to read, thus improving the user experience in product design. Product designers and manufacturers can now use smaller NFC tags and stickers that are more secure and easier to install to enhance customer interaction. This unique solution can be used throughout the entire product lifecycle, from point-of-manufacture to point-of-sale consumer interaction and beyond. It gives everyday consumer goods a digital life.
The ST25TV series offers tags with a 512-bit or 2-Kbit memory, including a contextual automatic NDEF messaging service. It allows the tag to respond with dynamically-generated content when triggered by the end user and his NFC mobile phone with a simple “tap”. This technology is called Augmented NDEF.
ST25TV tags can be used for cloud-managed brand protection, such as anti-counterfeiting/tamper detection in various application areas including wine and spirits, ce ෂධ, and luxury goods.
