It can support flexible and versatile Java applications or specialised native COS applications for sectors including devices, finance, healthcare, public transport, and campuses. It supports multiple encryption algorithms including DES/AES/RSA, SHA1, SSF33, SM1/SM2/SM3/SM4, alongside various security measures, delivering robust resistance to attacks. Multiple communication interfaces are supported: contact (ISO/IEC 7816), contactless (ISO/IEC 14443A), or dual-interface (select one). The FM1280 finds extensive application in social security cards, health cards, bank cards, citizen cards, public transport cards, motorway toll cards, campus ID cards, and micro-payment systems. It also serves secure applications such as ESAM modules, PSAM cards, high-end ID credentials, and mobile payments. It facilitates simplified implementation of multi-domain integrated solutions. As a CPU card, the FM1280 is also compatible with the FM11RF08M, FM11RF08SH, FM11RF32M, and FM11RF32SH series of contactless logic encryption card chips.
